Hedberg Hill is a beautiful 5.6 hectare vineyard at Orange in the Central Tablelands of NSW, owned by Peter and Lee Hedberg.
The vineyard is at 880 metres elevation and provides a wonderful view of Mount Canobolas (1396 metres) and Young Man Canobolas (1330 metres) - as depicted on their wine label. The winding Molong Creek below provides a pretty valley scene as it drains headwaters from the high country to the Macquarie River to the west.
Hedberg Hill has a range of aromatic white wines (riesling, sauvignon blanc, chardonnay and viognier) and red wines (merlot, tempranillo and cabernet sauvignon). Peter Hedberg was the principal author of Orange Region Terroir booklet (2010) and has been a leader in the Orange wine region since 1984.
