The Bathurst Rail Museum is housed in the historic Railway Institute Building in Havannah Street and will explore the stories of Bathurst’s community and their connection to rail history. Follow the social history stories and learn about the importance of rail for NSW, the region and the Bathurst community. Be amazed by a model railway the size of a tennis court. Relax with a coffee from the Museum’s café in the train carriage or in Kids Central, the children’s play gallery with the world largest permanent Brio set.
Open seven days during school holidays.
