Kerralee is a five acre/two hectare vineyard on the Barton Highway, half way between Yass and Canberra.
Named for their three daughters, they meticulously tend 5000 vines to produce pinot noir and Merlot, single vineyard wine. Rose is made from both varieties and they have recently produced their first clear sparkling wine. Each vintage is named for one of their six grandchildren, so maintaining the family connection of their special place in the region.
Wine was first produced in Georgia 7000 years ago. Planted in 1999,these vines are very much 'juniors' in the time line of wine history. Their wines are made by leading winemakers in the region.
They are more than are happy to show visitors through the vineyard, and also provide private tastings by request....
