Vibrant surf and sand colours attract diners from the nearby beach making sandy, bare feet and bathers not out of place in this hive of coffee and café fare. Bright, funky furniture inside and out reflects a laid back vibe, encouraging locals to hover over a menu full of tasteful tempters such as a brekky burrito pocket with bacon, scrambled eggs, hash brown, cheese and barbeque sauce, or an acai bowl topped with granola and shredded coconut. The mini bees are not overlooked with kids’ sized delights such as chocolate chip pancakes with maple syrup and ice cream, while daily lunch specials like black bean beef or teriyaki chicken and rice take the sting out of later hunger pangs.
